74. A powerful take on self-compassion and your dating life with Lauren McQuade

 

Self-compassion is transformative in so many ways. Did you know that self-compassion has a huge role in dating? This week I am joined by self-compassion coach, Lauren McQuade. She works with high achievers and helps them transform in so many ways - going from fearful to confident in many aspects of their lives. 

So if your attempts are not going the way you had envisioned, you may be asking yourself things like, “What is wrong with me?” “Why hasn’t it worked out?” or  “I must be doing something wrong.”

And my magnificent mermaid, it is these self-limiting beliefs that is your dating glass ceiling. The people who attract the happiest, loving relationships are those who have a loving and supporting relationship with themselves, first. Self-compassion can help you go from soul-suck to empowered and confident.  

The goal of any relationship is to grow into self-love and mutual compassion as you grow into the relationship. You have a head start if you have a loving relationship for yourself.
