When having conversations on dating apps, are you staying surface level out of fear of being “too much,” or too straightforward? You’re not alone.

This week, I have a live coaching session with my client, Caitlin. She’s a badass living in Washington D.C., and she’s also been struggling with how to have deep and meaningful conversations with the men she’s dating, especially at first. During our session, we uncovered some ways she can get unstuck from old patterns and move forward with power and confidence.

HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF TODAY’S EPISODE:

  • We dig deeper into Caitlin’s fears and acknowledge she is in charge of who she spends her time with - she does not need to lower the bar.

  • We talk through how she can qualify the right dates and disqualify the wrong ones.

  • Acknowledging that you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person.

  • We work through the thought patterns of being a certain age, being single, and how to move out of that shame spiral.

  • How to cut straight to a meaningful conversation on dating apps.

One of the scariest and most transparent questions you can ask on a dating app is, “Why are you here?”

Listen to the full episode to hear some tactical steps I teach Caitlin for having more in-depth conversations on a date, as well as, how to move out of shame spirals that come along.
