I am talking with Julia Hochstadt, LCSW, about how trauma can show up in your dating life and what you can to do get support. Many of the people I work with get support from trauma therapists.  Trauma deeply affects dating, their love lives and impacts their healing process. Because I am not an expert on the topic, I invited Julia to share information and resources around abuse, trauma, and dating.

Julia is a psychotherapist who has been working with survivors of trauma and crime in hospital-based and private practice settings for over two decades. She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Our goal for this conversation is to bring to the forefront that domestic violence and abuse affect a lot of people. If you or someone you care about could benefit from information or support, know that help is out there.

Trigger warning: In this episode, we talk about the themes of abuse and trauma. If that's something you know wouldn't serve you in your journey today, then please skip this episode.
